Articles approved in the Desk Review phase will be subjected to blind peer review, being analyzed by at least two blind external reviewers (without identification of authorship and reviewers) with the issuance of opinions.

All works submitted for consideration by Revista da Emeron must be unpublished and not under consideration for publication in any other publication vehicle. The journal follows the guidelines of the CNPq Research Integrity Commission (04/12/2021) and the ethical publication standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics – COPE and recommends careful reading. All submitted articles are read by the editor and deputy editors, who examine the suitability of the work for the journal's editorial line and may reject articles – without the need to present opinions – that are not in line with the defined thematic fields or that do not respect the basic principles and guidelines of responsible academic communication. Secondly, two evaluators analyze the article in a double-blind process, make comments and offer, when relevant, suggestions for improvement.

This stage may involve continuous reassessments, with the aim of bringing together efforts to improve the work. If there is no consensus, the article will be sent to a third evaluator. After approval by the journal's scientific body, the article is subjected to editing, bibliographical and standards verification by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT) and spelling and grammatical review. The final version is sent to the main author for formal approval before being published, and no subsequent modifications are accepted.
