Timeline

2022 – The Liga do Bem Viver emerged in the judicial district of Pimenta Bueno, with the aim of inspiring new forms of human relationships with Nature, and began producing a newsletter called Bem Viver Compartilhando Saberes.

2023 – The Liga do Bem Viver, through its coordinator, Leandro Aparecido Fonseca Missiatto, presented to the Judicial School (EMERON) a proposal to create a journal focused on the knowledge, arts, and cultures of the Amazon—also a space dedicated to scientific communication in language accessible to communities.

2023 – EMERON’s director, Appellate Judge Alexandre Miguel, authorized the creation of the journal, and the first EMERON periodical entirely devoted to the Amazon’s socio-environmental issues was launched: Revista Bem Viver Compartilhando Saberes.

2024 – EMERON launched the first issue of Revista Bem Viver Compartilhando Saberes.

2025 – Starting with volume 2, issue 2 (2025), the journal discontinued the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License and adopted the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0), further aligning with the principles of open science.
