About the Conference Proceedings Series

The journal Bem Viver Compartilhando Saberes (Porto Velho, Rondônia, Brazil; electronic ISSN 3085-8674) is a semiannual, open-access, free-of-charge publication licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). It is dedicated to disseminating, in Brazil and worldwide, knowledge, experiences, and reflections on the knowledges and cultures of Amazonian peoples, with an emphasis on Rights of Nature, socio-environmental justice, sociocultural and linguistic diversity, intercultural education, arts, literature, communication, and interfaces with Law and related fields. The adopted license allows authors to retain copyright while permitting reading, downloading, sharing, adaptation, and commercial use with proper source attribution; in cases of republication, please indicate first publication in this journal. The journal accepts submissions in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Indigenous languages; texts in other languages must be accompanied by a full Portuguese version. We adopt plain-language communication, in line with the Plain Language Manual of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies (2024), to broaden access to communities’ scientific and cultural knowledge without compromising academic rigor. The journal transparently discloses any sponsorships or institutional support, which do not influence editorial decisions or the peer-review process. Founded in Porto Velho, with a trajectory focused on valuing Amazonian peoples, the journal preserves its content digitally through the LOCKSS system and the Cariniana Network (Ibict). Our Privacy Statement ensures that names and addresses provided are used exclusively for the journal’s editorial services and are not shared with third parties, except when required by law.
